As the granddaughter of a founding family of the Geneseo Colony, Ella dedicated her life to documenting the early days of our community, capturing the core beliefs that shaped Geneseo. In 1899, she established the Geneseo Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, showcasing her leadership and commitment to preserving history. Her grandfather, R. R.
